Lady ice or Es Nona is the legendary drinks from Pontianak,
the Capital city of West Borneo, Indonesia. It was created and sold for the
first time by the sibling Akim and Akian. Es Nona was first
sold in 1976 in the city of Pontianak. The term, “Lady” or Nona first came from a customer who was fascinated
by the delicious drinks, and the beauty of two siblings who sold the ice. It is
finally known as Es Nona or Lady ice.
Here are the recipes to make Lady ice or Es Nona
Time: 45 Minutes
Serve : 6 Portion
Materials :
200 gram Cassava tape, remove its bones
100 grams of red beans, boiled ripe
6 jackfruits, seeded, cut into length
250 gram young Coconut, dredge it
200 gram nata de coco
500 ml coconut milk from ¼ coconut
½ teaspoons salt
50 ml Coco Pandan syrup
50 ml sweetened condensed
500 grams shaved ice

Ingredients:
500 grams of papaya, cut 1×2 cm
1 tablespoon of lime betel, dissolve with 1,000 ml of water
200 grams of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt.
How to Make :
1. Soak papaya in the lime water for 1 hour. Clean Wash. Set
aside.
2. Boil 1,000 ml of water until boiling. Enter granulated
sugar, salt, and papaya. Stir well. Cook until it seep. Drain. Set aside.
3. Boil the coconut milk while stirring until its boiling.
Add salt. Stir. Set aside.
4. set up the cassava tape, red beans, jackfruit, young coconut,
and Nata de Coco in the glass. Pour coconut milk. Add a syrups and
sweetened condensed milk.
